But the slabs for the entrance to our house over the drain - they did not do it and we had to get done ourselves. This started me thinking of this blog. Should we not know what is the scope of work the contractor has been awarded?<br /><br />It is good that we can approach the RTI later to get the info. But why can't it be made public in the first place? So that it serves as a deterrent for any unscrupulous contractor or Government servant?
